The Quest

Bigger Than Trophies

The mission behind Wheelchair Billiards Quest: spinal-cord-injury awareness, active accessible living, and community — advanced through competition, teaching, and storytelling.

The Mission

Competition in service of something larger

Wheelchair Billiards Quest follows a North American wheelchair 9-ball champion as he competes, teaches, and helps expand awareness and opportunity through the game of pool.

The Quest is an athlete-led media, education, community, mission, and commerce platform — not a generic inspiration site and not merely a store.

Status note: Wheelchair Billiards Quest's organizational status (including any nonprofit registration) is not confirmed. No nonprofit status is implied until verified.

What the Quest stands for

Six pillars of the mission

Spinal-cord-injury awareness, research, and support

Connecting competition with broader awareness of spinal-cord injury — supporting research, conversation, and understanding through a visible, active athlete's platform.

Independence and active accessible lifestyles

Showing that an active, independent life is possible and powerful after injury. Billiards is one path; the message is broader.

Positive attitudes and perceptions

Changing perceptions about people with disabilities — not through pity, but through skill, competition, and authentic storytelling.

Real barriers and practical solutions

Naming the real barriers faced in travel, recreation, facilities, and daily life — and sharing practical ideas and solutions.

Clinics, exhibitions, lessons, and coverage

Clinics, exhibitions, lessons, interviews, and event coverage that bring adaptive cue sports to new audiences.

Community outreach

Outreach to rehabilitation centers, veterans centers, hospitals, support groups, youth groups, churches, poolrooms, and related communities.
